Airpac Bukom Develops New Dual Air Compressor

Airpac Bukom Oilfield Services, the oil & gas rental division of Vp plc, is pleased to announce a new product innovation.

NEW 2100 cfm Dual Air Compressor

The impressive equipment inventory will be enhanced with the addition of new purpose-built 2100 cfm Dual Air Compressor units.

Airpac Bukom's Dual Air Compressor features two individual Compressors operating at 1050 cfm with the option to run both simultaneously to produce a maximum total of 2100 cfm.

With a capacity of 2100 cfm at 125 psi (8.6 bar), they deliver more air to enable higher rates of productivity, allowing time critical demands of fabric maintenance and well test programmes to be met. The new Compressors will be available to support global operations from Airpac Bukom's strategically placed worldwide network of maintenance and distribution hubs.

Airpac Bukom's Dual Air units are fitted in a DNV 2.7-1 / CSC shipping container and provide a cost-effective transport solution. The units produce one of the highest cfm per square foot of deck space in the world and can be safely double-stacked for further economy of critical space.

The new equipment will meet the requirements to support new technologies used within well test operations and other segments within the oil and gas industry. These complement the existing range of Rigsafe / Safe Area Compressors available from Airpac Bukom facilities internationally.

“The Dual Air units were developed in response to a demand from our clients, they are looking for units which are reliable, cost-effective and are easy to transport globally. The amount of cfm per square foot of deck space was highlighted as one of the most beneficial aspects, particularly from a well test perspective. The container had to be as mobile as possible for shipping, craneage and forklift movement, complying with DNV 2.7-1, CSC shipping and the inclusion of forklift pockets, ensures that all lifting requirements have been addressed. The Dual Air Compressor was designed internally, utilising the most reliable compressor packages available to us, allowing us to ensure our clients are getting the best quality product we can offer.”
