With a capacity of 28m³/min (1000 cfm) and a pressure rating of up to 10.3 barg (150 psi) the 1000 cfm Zone II ATEX DNV containerised Air Compressor delivers more air to enable higher rates of productivity, allowing customers to meet the time critical demands of offshore operations.

The diesel driven 1000 cfm Zone II unit is housed in a fully ATEX approved 94/9/EC, protective DNV 2.7-1 container certified for Zone II hazardous area operation. Along with forklift pockets and twistlock points this provides greater flexibility for transportation and stacking on site.

The 1000 cfm Zone II Compressor is fitted as standard with pneumatic starting, cooling fan and controls, a Pyroban exhaust gas cooler (ensuring surface temperature does not rise above 200°C), a spark arrestor and an automatic engine overspeed shutdown, to safeguard against the unlikely event of gas ingestion.
