With a capacity of 45m³/min (1600 cfm) and rating of up to 10.3 bar (150 psi) the new DNV 2.7-2 Zone II  Air Compressor delivers more air to enable higher rates of productivity. This allows customers to meet the time critical demands of offshore fabric maintenance and well test programmes. 

Airpac Rentals's new 1600 cfm Zone II Compressors are specified for worldwide operations, both onshore and offshore, working at ambient temperatures of +45°C.

The 1600 cfm Air Compressor has an active Pyroban system (meaning no flame trap maintenance), gas detection and a self contained fire suppression system.

The diesel driven 1600 cfm Zone II unit is housed in a fully ATEX approved 94/9/EC, protective DNV 2.7-2 galvanised steel container certified for Zone II hazardous area operation. Along with forklift pockets and twistlock points to provide greater flexibility for transportation and stacking on site.

Airpac Rentals Oilfield Services operates one of the largest fleets of Zone II Air Compressors in the oil and gas industry. The 1600 cfm units complement existing rental range of 400, 750 and 1000 cfm Zone II models.
