Business Development Manager

A newly created and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team at our Kintore headquarters, covering our international regions.

This strategic role will play a key part in developing and executing our commercial growth strategy, expanding our geographic footprint, and strengthening our international market presence across both onshore and offshore sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, Identify, develop and pursue new international business opportunities across offshore drilling, subsea developments, onshore infrastructure and the emerging Energy Transition sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, operators and decision-makers across target regions
  • Lead commercial negotiations and secure profitable opportunities aligned to company objectives
  • Develop and execute structured market entry and regional growth strategies
  • Conduct detailed market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer requirement mapping
  • Build, manage and maintain a robust CRM pipeline of qualified opportunities from early engagement through to contract award
  • Identify strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities to support geographic expansion
  • Monitor international market activity, industry trends and competitor positioning to proactively identify growth opportunities
What We're Looking For In The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong understanding of the international energy rental markets, particularly outside Airpac Rentals’ core geographies (Europe, Asia and Australia)
  • Proven experience engaging directly with international end customers in offshore and onshore markets
  • Demonstrated ability in market assessment, opportunity sizing and business case development
  • Experience working closely with leadership, commercial and marketing teams to align strategic objectives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an established professional network within the offshore rental market
  • Strong understanding of international contracting within offshore rental and energy sectors
  • Substantial experience in a similar international business development role
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
